主讲简介：
Mitsuo Gen教授是进化计算（soft computing）领域的知名学者，著作丰富，其中："Genetic Algorithms and Engineering Design", Jan. 1997 with Dr. Cheng, John Wiley & Sons, Inc., New York, 432pp."Genetic Algorithms and Engineering Optimization", Jan. 2000 with Dr. Cheng, John Wiley & Sons, Inc., New York, 512pp.两本书被美国等众多高校列为遗传算法的教科书，此两本书目前已经翻译成中文出版。
Mitsuo Gen教授曾在IEEE Transaction on Reliability, European J. of Operational Research, J. of Operational Research Society, OR Spectrum, Networks, Computers and Operations Research, Inter. J. of Systems Science, Computers and Industrial Engineering, Computers in Industry, Inter. J. of Production Research, Inter. J. of Production Economics, J. of Intelligent Manufacturing等杂志上发表了100余篇高水平论文。
Mitsuo Gen教授学术交往活跃，多次受邀在Univ. of Southern California, Rutgers University, Univ. of Louisville, Univ. of Puerto Rico ，清华大学、西安交大等高校讲学. Mitsuo Gen教授目前是Computers and Industrial Engineering, OR Spectrum, Fuzzy Optimization and Decision Making等杂志的编委。
