    For many organisations inventory forms between 30 - 60% of a companies assets. As a consequence the cost of carrying inventory can be significant for an organisation, yet if managed well, inventory can be used to generate competitive advantage.  This lecture will look at how to more effectively manage inventory and how traditional ERP systems drive businesses to manage inventory 'by error' rather than 'by risk'
